Zakaah
JMOC collects and distributes Zakatul-maal funds to the needy of the community. Any one eligible to receive Zakaatul-maal, can contact the mosque. We will do our best and arrange for a temporary financial assistance. If the Zakah fund is depleted, the assistance may not be available right away as we may need to raise the funds from the community.

Social Assistance
Our social assistance program includes guidance, counseling and providing contact information to any one who is in difficult circumstances and looking for assistance. 

By the mercy of Allah (S) there are many experienced brothers and sisters in the community who can help you deal with your personal and social issues in full confidentiality.

Inter-Faith
JMOC strongly believes in developing understanding with other faiths groups across the region. We believe that being humans, our needs and issues are common. We endeavor to work with other groups on common issues that need to be addressed for the betterment of the society at large. 

To achieve this objective, periodically we hold inter-faith discussions to learn from each other and build on the commonality. We discuss issues from each other�s perspectives to foster understanding among various faiths.

Food Bank
Hunger is some thing that does not see the religious boundaries. Only those can appreciate the suffering of hunger who get inflicted with the hunger. Our membership is very sensitive to the fact that in the land of plenty, there are people in our society who do not have enough to quench their hunger. 

Over the years, JMOC volunteers have successfully organized food bank drives for the needy families across the region. We join hands with Muslim as well as non-Muslim groups to alleviate the pain of hunger. We have continuous supply of non-perishable food in our containers that we deliver to the needy.

Community At Large
JMOC endeavors to participate in various discussion groups across the region. We also attend the Mayor�s inter-faith council to discuss issues touching various religious denominations.
