Mosque Facilities - Library
The construction of the library is not complete yet; however the information below provides details on the location of the library, membership, policies, operating hours, etc. expected once the library is in operation. Our objective is to help people learn about Islam through providing books of good quality.
Everyone is welcome in the Jami Omar Library; it is available to Muslim and non-Muslim members of the community.
The library is located directly across from the prayer hall, near the front doors of the Mosque.
Hours of Operation
The library in Jami Omar will be open at these times all year:
Wednesdays 7pm - 9pm
Fridays 11am - 3pm and 7pm - 9pm
Sundays 1pm - 3pm
If the library is not open when you return your books, please deposit them in the book return depository.
Library membership is free
Loan Period is 3 weeks for books and magazines
Audio/Visual material and reference material are seven day loan
You can borrow books in Arabic, English, Urdu and more
Quran translation available in 20 different languages
Free pamphlets and Quran for new Muslims, as well as books on how to pray
When library is not open, loan items can be dropped off in the book return depository
